| | Visit to Torres and new PFV president,
| | Another page in the history of Primum Familiae Vini has just been turned. The Torres Family has hosted our families in the last few days with their incomparable generosity and sense of hospitality.
Torres has not only been a founding member of PFV and a driving force within our association, they have been a model to many of us in the wine business, well beyond our association. In the course of the last few days, their entire family has demonstrated to all of us their uncompromising unity with only one common goal in mind. A reminder to all of us: there is very little hope of any future in a family business without any unity within its family members.
11 years have gone by since my first presidency but it is a new, rejuvenated PFV that I will preside over now. An association that has come to a certain maturity and awareness of its possible role but also of its opportunities.
Most members are now confident to affix the PFV logo on their bottles and even to take part in a joint commercial activity. The grounds are solid and well in place to bring Primum Familiae Vini forward. In the coming year I will try to contribute to bring the PFV name even further in front of the consumers.
