The families which comprise PFV are conscious they each share a common ambition of excellence and efficiency, they are custodians of a part of their respective
national heritages, and they face the same problems of fiscal pressure and the transmission of the family business to the next generation.
These points give rise to fruitful exchanges of views during regular
general meetings of all members, and have led the association to elaborate a "PFV charter" which can be summarised as follows:
Ø To promote and defend the moral values that are the backbone of family businesses . Ø
To exchange viticultural/oenological information and promote traditional methods that underline the quality of the wine and respect for "terroir".
ØTo promote the moderate consumption of wine, which is considered to be a cultural tradition of conviviality and of
"savoir-vivre". ØTo exchange useful information on all aspects of their businesses.
PFV members aim to defend and promote the traditions and values of family-owned wine companies, and ensure that such ideals survive and prosper for future generations. |
